Emirati Workers Say AI Integration is a Challenge
According to a LinkedIn survey, 35% of Emirati employees are struggling with how to work AI into their daily tasks. On top of that, 89% said they need more guidance, and 55% worry they’re falling behind in the job market. (Al-Bayan, October 9)
UAE Teams Up with Norway on AI and Green Tech
Khalifa University in the UAE signed a new partnership with UiT The Arctic University of Norway, focusing on AI, climate change, renewable energy, and the circular economy. The agreement was celebrated with a high-level presence, including the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Norwegian Prime Minister. (Al-Khaleej, October 7)

Qatar to Launch New AI Technology Company
The Qatari Investment Authority has announced a new company focused on digital infrastructure and AI. The company will result from a merger between Qatari Broadband Company and Gulf Bridge International and is set to operate across the region. (Al-Sharq, October 2)
